Recall This is a Chrome browser extension that lets users add personal notes to pages in their browsing history. The extension is designed to work without collecting or transmitting user data.
Data we collect
We do not collect any personal data. Recall This does not transmit, sell, or share your browsing history or notes.
Data the extension accesses (on your device)
- Web history (visited pages, titles, timestamps) to show recent pages so you can attach notes.
- User-created notes that you type into the extension.
How data is stored
Notes are stored locally in your browser using Chrome storage. Notes are not uploaded to external servers.
Permissions justification
- History: display recent pages to attach notes. No modification or deletion of history.
- Storage: store notes locally so they persist between sessions.
- ContextMenus: right-click a page to add a note quickly.
Remote code
Recall This does not use remote code and does not execute code downloaded from external sources.
